Certification ProgramOverview
The Christian Integrative Counseling (CIC) Certification Program is a comprehensive, three-phase training experience designed for professional counselors and clinicians seeking to practice from a biblically grounded, clinically informed framework. Each module includes its own version of an exit evaluation to ensure clarity, competence, and confidence in applying the material. Training is delivered with flexibility, offering both in-person and live online access, and is paced with two to three months between each module to allow for reflection, integration, and application in practice.
Delivered In 3 Modules:
MODULE ONEFoundation of Christian Integrative Counseling
Module One of the CIC Training is a four-day intensive designed for counseling professionals who are ready to deepen their clinical approach through theologically grounded integration. This module awards 28 Continuing Education credits, including 6 hours dedicated to ethics. The training sets the trajectory for the entire program by laying a comprehensive Christian foundation—offering participants a framework that unites theology, psychology, and somatic insight into one cohesive model for whole-person care.
MODULE TWOIntegrative Foundation for Whole-Person Counseling
Module Two of the CIC Training is a four-day intensive offering 28 Continuing Education credits, including 6 in ethics. This module explores the integrative core of our counseling model—uniting body, brain, and spirit in a way that honors both God’s design and the complexities of human experience. Professionals will engage foundational concepts in trauma, neurobiology, and somatic theory, all framed within a biblically grounded vision of human flourishing.
MODULE THREEIntegration of Counseling Theories & Techniques
Module Three of the CIC Training is a five-day intensive awarding 35 Continuing Education credits, including 6 in ethics. This capstone module immerses participants in the major counseling theories—highlighting their core models, benefits, and key techniques—without the depth or time required for separate certifications. Learners will gain practical, ethically sound tools they can confidently apply within CIC’s Whole Person Integration framework, ensuring theory and technique serve the integration of cognitive, emotional, physiological, and spiritual development while staying within their scope of competence.
Ongoing Community
Upon completion of each module, participants will be invited into a private CIC community, where they can engage with fellow professionals and ask questions directly to the presenters. After completing the entire program, graduates will have the option to join a certified membership community, which includes access to ongoing monthly training and continued sharpening alongside other CIC-certified counselors and social workers. This post-certification membership will include a monthly fee for those who choose to participate.
