Our Philosophy
The Whole Person Integration model represents a distinctive and deeply integrative sixth model in the landscape of Christian counseling. While previous models have contributed valuable insights—whether through biblical discipleship, integrationist frameworks, or spiritually minded psychology—many have remained fragmented, addressing either the mind, the spirit, or behavior without encompassing the entire person as God designed.
By embracing the Whole Person Integration model, clients can begin to heal deeply, and as a result, live fully and freely in the way God richly designed—restored in spirit, mind, and body.
Whole Person Integration Approach
At CIC, we believe healing happens when we honor the beautiful, interconnected nature of the human person. Modeled after Luke 2:52, our framework affirms growth in wisdom, stature, favor with God, and favor with others—reflecting the emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational dimensions of wholeness. These aren’t separate parts to be addressed in isolation, but deeply woven aspects of God’s design—where true transformation unfolds through integration.
So many counselors long to practice in a way that doesn’t require them to divide the sacred from the scientific. They want to bring their full self to the work—and to honor the whole person sitting in front of them.
The Whole Person Integration Approach was born from that desire. It restores what’s often missing in modern counseling: a cohesive vision of the person as created, connected, and designed for transformation. This model gives counselors the clarity to navigate trauma, identity, and formation with both clinical excellence and spiritual wisdom—so that healing becomes not just possible, but redemptive.
