Karla S. Hardin, Founder, holds a Master of Science in Mental and Behavioral Health from Mississippi College and is currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling Supervision. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience in Mississippi and Alabama through her private practice. Karla is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), an approved Counseling Supervisor, (LPC-S) and a Certified Practitioner in Somatic Experiencing (SEP), Clinical Trauma, and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) and Certified Havening Practitioner. In addition, Karla is a nationally approved provider of Continuing Education (ACEP). She takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to client care. She is professionally trained facilitator in the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator.
Prior to her counseling career Karla served in full-time ministry first to college students and then with adult ministries focused on business and professional populations for over 25 years. She and her husband are co-directors of their non-profit ministry, Business and Professional Outreach International, which continues today to follow the mandate in Colossians 1:28-29 of helping all people grow toward wholeness and maturity. In addition to counseling, Karla is a sought-after speaker in educational arenas, corporate settings, and faith-based communities focusing on trauma, parenting and women’s issues, etc. Karla also serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Psychology at Columbia Southern University.
