Experience
Philip K. Hardin holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Phil has over 25 years of clinical experience in private practice, serving clients in both Fairhope, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi.
With a dual foundation in biblical theology and relationship science, Phil brings an integrative and deeply relational approach to therapy. He is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, Certified Professional Life Coach, and Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, equipping him to work with couples, individuals, and leaders in areas of trauma healing, emotional connection, and relational transformation.
Phil has a long-standing passion for men’s growth and spiritual formation. For over 20 years, he has led a weekly men’s group in Jackson, MS, through which hundreds of men have experienced personal, relational, and spiritual transformation. He also leads Men’s Coaching Weekends—retreat-style intensives designed to equip men with practical tools for growth, communication, and emotional resilience. These events are held at a 21-acre retreat property he stewards in Ebenezer, Mississippi.
Phil currently hosts a weekly online men’s coaching group called Lion Makers, fostering strong masculine identity and Christ-centered leadership. In addition to his clinical and coaching work, Phil is a sought-after speaker and workshop leader in corporate, faith-based, and educational settings, offering insights on relationships, trauma, and emotional growth.
He also serves as President of Business and Professional Outreach, International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to cultivating spiritual maturity and strong relational communities across diverse settings.
Phil is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
